On 30 January, 2025, Nam Theun 1 Power Company Limited (NT1PC) held its first Board of Directors meeting of the year at the Lao Development Bank conference room. This was a special meeting, with board members from The Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO Group) of Thailand traveling to Vientiane to join their counterparts from Chaleun Sekong Energy Company Limited (CSE) and EDL-Generation Public Company (EDL-GEN)
The meeting, chaired by Mr. Chanthanom Phommany, Chairman of the Board of Directors, proceeded smoothly and effectively. A wide range of topics were discussed, including updates on NT1PC’s operational progress and the consideration and approval of key tasks. The Board also provided valuable feedback on various aspects of NT1PC’s operations, which the management team will carefully consider for future improvements. At the conclusion of the meeting, the EGCO Board of Directors presented gift baskets and New Year greetings to Mr. Chanthanom Phommany and Mr. Vongsakoun Yingyong, a board member from EDL-Gen.
